You’ve probably seen these being hocked at carnivals, fairs, or at the local market.  They even have infomercials on T.V. It’s a simple band, usually cheap rubber of some kind, with a magnet, stone, or other “magical” charm housed inside it. These magical energy force bracelets claim to restore balance and increase your strength instantly. The claims are pretty outrageous. You wouldn’t normally think twice about it being a scam. That is until you see a pretty convincing demonstration. Well, that demonstration is actually a pretty cheap parlor trick. It’s designed to fool you and it fools quite a few. The seller knows the trick and it’s pretty easy to pull.
